Big Ten Tournament: Michigan Wolverines Fall to Rutgers, 62-50
The Michigan Wolverines came into Thursday’s (March 9) Big Ten Tournament game against Rutgers with promise. The Wolverines have been a tighter, stronger team as of late. They also beat Rutgers, 58-45, back on Feb. 23, so they knew it could be done.
However, Michigan fell short, losing to the Scarlet Knights, 62-50. They should still be proud of a stellar season.
The Big Ten tournament is currently happening in Chicago. Michigan State is slated to play Friday (March 10) at 2:30 p.m. If they win, the goal is to upset Purdue and win the tournament, which would land them a spot in the NCAA Tournament.
