Aaron Rodgers Talks Smack About Detroit Lions After Packers Loss
Aaron Rodgers is arguably one of the greatest quarterbacks of his generation, but he’s not acting like it lately. I’m not talking about what he’s doing on the field, either.
Rodgers apparently said to Lions rookie Aidan Hutchinson following his interception at Ford Field on Sunday (Nov. 6), “freebie.” Not very classy, buddy. Now, it’s coming out that Rodgers talked a little smack about the Lions following the Packers’ loss.
“I think there’s a lot to it,” Rodgers told reporters after the game. “But it really just comes down to execution. The play comes in, we’ve got to execute it. There’s a lot of things that go into that. We had a couple of chances for sure. We can’t lose a game like that against that team, no. So that’s going to hurt for a while.”
The part that really gets me is, “That team.” He can’t even call us by our name? We’re the Lions. Show some respect. I mean, looking at the bigger picture, Rodgers will still go down as one of the best quarterbacks of his era, so he should think about that when making comments like this that might go “viral.” Let me know what you think about the Lions-Packers game on Facebook HERE!
