The new Twisters movie hits theaters this weekend, and according to Brandon Perea, you want to see it on the big screen!

Brandon plays Boone, cameraman and buddy to Tyler Owens (played by Glen Powell) in the 2024 sequel to 1995’s Twister. Don’t get it twisted (see what I did there) ‘Twisters’ isn’t a reboot. It’s being dubbed as a “current-day chapter” of the original. An all new cast chasing the innerworkings of the very thing many people fear.
Brandon Perea is a Chicago native, but immediately tells us about his love for Detroit. In fact, he has plans to visit the Motor City next month to play a few rounds of golf.
As for Twisters, Brandon says the film is a must-see in the theaters. Not only does it feature those huge, massive sequences, it will make you laugh and pull at your heartstrings. He says if you want to feel like you’re chasing an actual tornado, but still be safe, this movie is made for the theater. It’ll keep you on the edge of your seat!
On the topic of the original film, Brandon admits that it was one of the first movies that truly haunted him. In light of that, it triggered a fascination with him as a kid. While filming ‘Twisters,’ Brandon alongside co-stars Glen Powell and Daisy Edgar-Jones went with professional storm chasers to chase and hopefully see a tornado.
