For years, the town of Northville has gone Halloween-crazy. This year is no different, with about 120 skeletons on display throughout dowtown Northville.

When my kids were young we looked around for places for them to trick or treat. Once we discovered what Northville does, we went every year. It didn’t hurt that a former coworker of mine lives there and always had a killer party! That story for another time. At 6 pm the siren goes off, and the town is pretty much vehicle-free so the kids can walk the streets safely until 8 pm. It’s great to see how many houses take part in the festivities. One home ever has a 5-7 minute play they put on throughout the night. One year they had the “Ed Skellington Show”. It was really cool.

Of course, the skeletons are back as well. The town is adorned each year by skeletons promoting local businesses. While I was there over the weekend, I decided to snap a couple of pictures to show you what it looks like.

Enjoy the pictures, and get to Northville this Halloween season!
