Coming up on my Talkin’ Rock with Meltdown podcast, I’ll be featuring Eva Under Fire. I thought I’d give you a little history on the band before we talk with them.
The downriver band formed in 2015 after meeting at the Woodhaven, Michigan Uncle Sam Jam. Singer, Eva Marie and lead guitarist Rob Lyberg met rhythm guitarist Chris Slapnik. They were later joined by bassist Ed Gawlik and drummer Dave Miller to form the current lineup.
You’ve probably heard their song “Blow” on WRIF. That song was ranked #10 at Active Rock radio! They also have a ton of exciting things coming up including a deluxe version of their album Love, Drugs & Misery. The deluxe album features previously unreleased songs and a new version of their song “Unstoppable” with country rock artist Cory Marks, which drops this Friday, August 4th.
You can catch them at The Music Factory for a headline show 8/11 or on tour with Finger Eleven at Wyandotte’s own District 142 on 9/6….that’s just for starters.
Follow or subscribe to Talkin’ Rock, as they’ll be on soon!
