Man Tries Using Snoop Dogg Dummy In Carpool Lane
Is That Snoop Dogg In The Carpool Lane?
California Highway Patrol’s Santa Fe Springs Office took to social media to share what happened. According to them, a motorist tried to dupe the system by using a dummy as a passenger so they could use the carpool lane. Strangely, the dummy they used looks a lot like Snoop Dogg! This isn’t the only time someone tried to get creative to beat the carpool lane cameras and system. People have tried all sorts of things to be able to use the lane. If you weren’t aware, in order to use the carpool lane you have to have someone else in your vehicle with you. You are not allowed to use it alone. That lane is for people who are carpooling to work together–hence its name. This is a way to encourage people to drive to work together and help the environment. Doing that allows you to use the exclusive lane which has significantly less traffic than the other lanes. That means you’ll get to work on time and won’t have to worry about any trouble. Given the advantage, people will try anything they can to gain entry into the carpool lane. They’ve used dummies, props, and more! There was even a popular episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm where Larry David picks up a prostitute so he can use the coveted carpool lane. Now, people are being reminded that the extra person in your car has to be a real human being. Dummies that look like Snoop Dogg won’t count, even if it is pretty awesome. Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
