The Lions have a legitimate chance to make it to a Super bowl. There are key things that must happen to have a Lions Super bowl.
Detroit started out as the Portsmouth Spartans in 1929. After moving to Detroit in 1934, the team stayed and won a few championships in the 1950’s. One in 1952, 1953 and another in 1957. Since those 3 championships, the Detroit Lions have never seen such success again, until now.

The New Culture
The Lions are the most powerful thing in the city of Detroit right now. The city has been longing for something to believe in for decades. Sadly, a professional football team was never something that Detroiters could count on. Dan Campbell and the current Detroit Lions franchise have turned that around.
The team plays harder than any team in the NFL and they play for each other. Very few teams have the sort of “all in'' approach that this group of players have invested in. You cannot teach selflessness. Dan Campbell has rallied each and every one of these players to elevate their game to maximize their abilities. Something that even the best of the best coaches can’t always achieve.

This season feels like it has the potential to have a storybook ending for Detroit. For that to happen, certain things have to take place. In order to see a Lions Super Bowl, the Lions have to do a handful of things effectively which will result in them beating the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.
Keys To a Lions Super Bowl
One key to witnessing a Detroit Lions Super Bowl is getting pressure on San Francisco Quarterback Brock Purdy. Aidan Hutchinson, Alim McNeill, James Houston, Josh Paschall and John Cominsky truly have their work cut out for them. In the playoffs thus far however, the Lions defense has succeeded in getting enough pressure on opposing Quarterbacks to limit their effectiveness. If this happens again on Sunday, it will be instrumental in seeing a Detroit Lions Super Bowl berth.
The Offensive Line
Another key to seeing Detroit make it to their first Super Bowl in franchise history is their offensive line play. Frank Ragnow got beat up in their last matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Even still he powered through and dominated star defensive tackle Vita Vea. The 49ers have perhaps the best defensive line in professional football.

This will be the offensive line’s biggest test of the season for Detroit. They have been a top 5 ranked o-line all season. Now is when it matters most to protect Lions Quarterback Jared Goff. While also creating running lanes for Detroit backs Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery. If the offensive line can hold their own against the fearsome San Francisco defensive front, they will win.
Jared Goff
The third key to seeing our Lions make it to the Super Bowl is Jared Goff. Jared Goff has proven that he is much more than just a game manager in these playoffs. Goff has put up back-to-back stellar games where he picked apart opposing defenses and made pinpoint passes which resulted in wins. He has completely won over this city in the process, and everyone is pulling for him now. If Goff can reward the fans' faith in him just one more time this weekend, we will see the first ever Lions Super Bowl.

7 Best NFL Logos
The National Football League has been in existence for over 100 years. Originating in the year 1920 when there were only two teams, the "Decatur Staleys" Which is now known as the Chicago Bears and the "Chicago Cardinals" Which are now the Arizona Cardinals. Over the years the NFL has grown, evolved and prospered more than any other American Sport. Of course, Soccer is the most popular sport worldwide, but American Football is right behind it in terms of profit. Many NFL logos have become some of the most well-known and iconic logos in the world.
While there are 32 teams across the NFL in 2024, it wasn't always that way. As previously mentioned, there were only 2 teams at one point. This grew over the years with several expansions. Throughout all the growth and name changes, some of the most iconic NFL logos have come out. Something I have always wondered though is what are the best NFL logos? Which team has the best logo?
The Best NFL Logos?
To answer the question of which teams have the best NFL logo you have to first ask how are we defining that? If we went off a list of most "iconic" NFL logos it would look much different. I for one think the Detroit Lions, The Green Bay Packers, The Chicago Bears, Pittsburgh Steelers, San Francisco 49ers and New York Giants as well as a few others would have to be included on the list.
In all honesty however, I feel as though every single logo on that list lacks creativity and flare. I feel as though "iconic" doesn't equate to "the best".

To accurately describe which teams, have the best NFL logo we must solely look at it from a creativity and a "fit" point of view. For example, the Atlanta Falcons do not have the most iconic nor the coolest looking logo. However, designing a black and red falcon in the shape of an F is a very creative and well-done logo in my mind. Below you will find what I deem to be the 7 best NFL logos based on these criteria!
Houston Texans

For sure one of the coolest logos in the league. Not only that, but the Texans get style points for this one. The shape of a bull with a star for the eye in the lone star state? Pure perfection.
Baltimore Ravens

In my humble opinion the Baltimore Ravens have the best logo in all of the NFL. The logo surprisingly has a strong connection to legendary author and poet Edgar Allan Poe.
Poe spent the majority of his life in Baltimore and wrote the dark piece "The Raven". Beyond the obvious homage to Poe, The Raven in general, strongly embodies strength and sheer dominance. Exactly the things you would want your football team to possess.
Carolina Panthers

While one of the newest teams in the National Football League, the Carolina Panthers logo is one of the sharpest. Unfortunately, a "panther" or cougar hasn't been spotted in the state of Carolina in over 100 years, still the logo is pretty darn cool.
Philidelphia Eagles

PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA - AUGUST 17: A generic view of the Philadelphia Eagles logo against the Cleveland Browns during the preseason game at Lincoln Financial Field on August 17, 2023 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Browns tied the Eagles 18-18. (Photo by Mitchell Leff/Getty Images)
While I personally despise Philly sports as a whole, The Philidelphia Eagles logo is one of the most recognizable logos in all of sports. It's by no means a complicated logo, however it is a perfect fit for the franchise. No mistaking it for a seagull...
Miami Dolphins

MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA - DECEMBER 17: Detail view of a Dolphins logo prior to a game against the New York Jets at Hard Rock Stadium on December 17, 2023 in Miami Gardens, Florida. (Photo by Brandon Sloter/Image Of Sport/Getty Images)
Miami has one of the most definitive logos out there. Nobody is confusing this with a shark that's for sure. Also, it's simple and it works. Florida has dolphins off the coast, so Miami Dolphins is a match made in heaven. Plus, Dolphins are pretty strong too. Technically the kings of the ocean the Orcas, are dolphins...
Denver Broncos

The Denver Broncos logo is one of the sharpest in the league. Its crisp edges make the logo pop and standout. Also, as far as horses are concerned, I think this is one of the more imposing looking logos.
Buffalo Bills

DETROIT, MICHIGAN - NOVEMBER 20: A Buffalo Bills helmet is pictured during the game against the Cleveland Browns at Ford Field on November 20, 2022 in Detroit, Michigan. (Photo by Nic Antaya/Getty Images)
The Buffalo Bills logo has to appear on this list for a few reasons. The creativity is a big plus. The Bills franchise is the only team in the league with their city name as their logo. Well at least with the city name turned into an animal logo. The New York Giants have a giant "NY" which is incredibly lame and lacks creativity.
The last reason the Bills logo is one of the best is that is has remained unchanged since 1974 and is likely to never change. It will remain a iconic logo for many years to come in the NFL.
