TikTok Chef Cooks Shrimp In Airplane Bathroom
It’s the oldest joke in the book, “what’s the deal with airplane food?” Well, now we have a better idea. Just ask a man who cooks shrimp in an airplane bathroom.
The New York Post reports the alleged chef fried up garlic shrimp in the airplane lavatory. Fry the friendly skies, as they say.
TikTok Chef Cooks Shrimp In Airplane Bathroom
“Well, I got a terrible idea,” TikTok user @barfly777 shared in the now viral clip. He has gained more than 155,000 followers on TikTok by sharing unique videos of himself cooking things from pizza to ribs–but always in the bathroom.
It’s definitely one way to cut through the clutter on the internet. People love their food…and crazy stories.
For this specific video, he decided to take things up a notch. More than 30,000 feet, I guess. According to the New York Post, he called the meal, “mile-high bathroom garlic shrimp and mash.” Doesn’t sound like anything I’ve ever seen on a menu before.
Per The New York Post, he described the meal and method, “With 2 6v batteries wired in series to an immersion beverage heater, one can get water scalding hot quickly. Raw shrimp will only need a few minutes. Adding instant mash to the shrimp water adds some extra flavor. Garlic butter makes everything go better.”
Watch the video below. He filmed himself on the way to the airport saying he was nervous and, “The stuff I got packed looks like a bomb,” The New York Post says.
Later, he films himself getting all his supplies ready in the airplane bathroom. He’s shown hooking up the heater and sets the shrimp and mash on the diaper changing table in the lavatory. He gets the water boiling and throws the shrimp in and then adds the garlic butter.
He even gets resourceful and uses what appears to be the complimentary barf bag to help mix the ingredients. The man then goes back to his seat to enjoy his meal. It truly has to been seen to believed.
The problem about going viral? Everyone will see it. That likely includes the government and TSA. No word on what’s going to happen to the man, but I wouldn’t expect to see many more videos like this. Check it out below!
