Detroit Rockers Of Virtue Are Playing A Homecoming Show This Week
Dorothy said it best, “there’s no place like home.” It’s especially true when the “home” being talked about is Detroit Rock City. I’ve lived across the country, and getting to come back home to Michigan is a gift that I don’t take for granted. This Friday, Of Virtue will also be coming home to Detroit for a show at The Sanctuary.
The band is gearing up to release their fourth album, Omen, this month. Now, they’re hitting the road to celebrate. Of Virtue will be at The Sanctuary in Hamtramck on Friday and then they’ll be playing a show Saturday night at Hall 224 in Lansing. Two great chances to see a local band who are on the rise. Imagine, five years from now, you could be telling your friends about how you saw Of Virtue play The Sanctuary in Fall of 2023 before they blew up. That could be you!
Of Virtue Is Coming Home
Does Of Virtue sound familiar but you can’t put your finger on it? You may be remembering them from Riff Fest 2022. They were one of the bands to take the Festival Stage and they really got people talking. You can keep scrolling to see some pictures from their set at Riff Fest 2022 down below.
The Detroit band has been very active in the scene and continue to climb the ranks and check off massive accomplishments. That includes support at shows with Three Days Grace, Being As An Ocean, King 810, For the Fallen Dreams, Upon A Burning Body, The Word Alive, and more.
They’re seeing a lot of success on streaming platforms, as well, and really expanding their reach. The band has 600k+ monthly listeners total on Spotify, and that number continues to grow. Their album, Omen, is set to drop in a couple of weeks on October 27th, and there’s a lot of anticipation around this record. I’m stoked for it, personally.
