A Conversation With A Legend: Ian Hunter
83-year-old Ian Hunter has seemingly done it all. From Mott the Hoople in 1969 his long-running friendships and collaborations with David Bowie and Mick Ronson. His now 45 + year solo career which included “Once Bitten Twice Shy” and “Cleveland Rocks” and now the first of his 2 new albums including a who’s who of friends and special guests.
Defiance Part 1 includes Slash, Duff, The DeLeo Brothers from Stone Temple Pilots, Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top, Joe Elliot of Def Leppard, Mike Campbell, Robert Trujillo, and Ringo Starr. Plus, some of the final recording ever from both Taylor Hawkins and Jeff Beck.
We covered as much of that as possible (and more in fact) in an 11 minute conversation.
Enjoy.
