Report: Jim Harbaugh and 1 NFL Team Have ‘Strong Mutual Interest’

It’s a new year, and the Jim Harbaugh rumors are back.
So, is Harbaugh seriously considering jumping back into the NFL, and is a team interested? According to one NFL inside, the answer is yes. There’s apparently one team serious about making Harbaugh their new head coach.

What’s more interesting is that Harbaugh and the Broncos have chatted, and the two sides reportedly have mutual interest. Last week, the Broncos reportedly interviewed Harbaugh (virtually), along with Denver DC Ejiro Evero, former Detroit Lions coach Jim Caldwell and ex-Stanford HC David Shaw. They have more interviews lined up this week.

He’s not saying it’s going to happen, so don’t get too bent out of shape, Wolverines. If last year means anything, then we know all the talk might amount to nothing. But, according to these reports, Harbaugh really does want to get back to the NFL.
