Monopoly has released a special collector's edition honoring Britney Spears. Monopoly: Britney Spears Collector's Edition celebrates the pop star’s “musical journey” by taking fans on a nostalgic trek through her iconic career, showcasing the multiplatinum-selling singer’s biggest hits. The game comes complete with six custom tokens inspired by Spears' famous music video props: Astronaut ("Oops!...I Did It Again"), Basketball ("...Baby One More Time"), Milkshake Tray ("Crazy"), Pill Box Hat ("Toxic"), Mirror ("Lucky"), Lion ("Circus"). You can buy, sell and trade your way to victory as you collect properties named after her popular songs. Custom railroad spots include: Tour Bus, Limousine, Helicopter and Private Jet. Monopoly’s Chance and Community Chest cards have been replaced with Curious and Fantasy cards named after Spears’ fragrances.

Players rack up Gold and Platinum records (cards) as they make their way around the board in one of the six Spears-inspired tokens. The last player standing, with custom Britney currency in hand, wins the game. Besides the custom visuals, the game rules remain the same: 2 to 6 players ages 8 and up. There are also 28 Title Deed Cards, 16 “Curious” Cards, 16 “Fantasy” Cards, Custom Monopoly Money, 32 “Gold Records” (Houses), and 12 “Platinum Records” (Hotels).

One fan who purchased the game on Amazon said: "This game is a good time for any monopoly or Britney Spears Fan. I thought this game would go by quickly because of the [sheer] amount that each 'record' cost to buy but it did not go any quicker than a normal game of monopoly. Some of the tokens are hard to find on the board when playing because they are so small such as the 'Lucky' mirror. The game itself is well made and the shipper shipped in good [condition]. I will say that the price does tend to vary depending on who you buy it from - I think this game is worth 40 dollars." Another wrote: "very well done with great images, especially the money! i wish the dice were cuter but it’s easy to get a more fun pair. def recommend!"
