The latest trend in the criminal world seems to be to cut out the middleman. From the dawn of the automobile, cars have been stolen from driveways, parking lots, and carjackings. Now, thieves seem to not be hassled with all that bother and now just go to a Dealership.

But what surprises me is that it’s not just one car or truck. In today’s age of crime, they are organized to steal multiple cars at one time. The ones stolen are not cheap but high-end cars and trucks- cars like the 2022 Ford Mustang and the Dodge Durango. The most recent took 30 criminals to pull off the robbery of 13 vehicles. Thieves are using cloned key fobs to steal Dodge muscle cars and other high-powered vehicles directly from dealerships and even automakers in Michigan, then selling them for tens of thousands of dollars less. As the saying goes, “Crime does not pay.” Until something is done soon we are going to have to change that. I only had one car stolen in my life. A 1978 puke green Dodge Dart. Kind of a blessing in disguise.

30 Armed Thieves Steal 13 Vehicles From Detroit Dealership

An organized group of thieves stormed a Detroit Metro area car dealership and drove away with 13 vehicles. According to Fox 2 Detroit, 30 criminals invaded the Genesee County dealer early Monday morning and exchanged gunfire with the on-duty security guard. Fortunately, no one was injured, but the criminal gang fled the area.
