The History Channel is Coming to Michigan
It’s always exciting when a national or cable show comes to Michigan to film an episode. I mean, think of all the times Michigan restaurants have been featured on the Food Network. It’s thrilling to see a local establishment on the small screen, getting the attention they deserve.
Now, one of the History Channel’s biggest shows is heading to Michigan to go antiquing. The show has been around for more than two decades, so it’s a favorite.
The program, “American Pickers,” will be looking for antiques and collectables for new episodes of the television show. Plus, if you have an antique shop, they want to know about it.
“‘American Pickers,’ which stars collectors Mike Wolfe, Danielle Colby and Robbie Wolfe, is headed to Michigan this May and is seeking out private collectors with really cool items and stories to tell. No stores. Private collections only,” a Facebook post from Cineflix stated. To have a shot for the show, email Americanpickers@Cineflix.com or call 646-493-2184.
“American Pickers” is entering its 23rd season. The show travels around America with the mission to restore old relics and make them like new again. New episodes of the program air on Saturdays at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT.
