Lions QB Jared Goff Among NFL Players of the Week

Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff helped lead the Lions to their first win of the season Sunday (Dec. 5), and the NFL noticed. I was seriously celebrating like we had won the Super Bowl, and it was pretty embarrassing for me!
Goff was among the players highlighted during the Week 13 NFL Players of the Week, as released by the NFL Wednesday (Dec. 8).
With no time on the clock, Goff threw an 11-yard touchdown strike to Amon-Ra St. Brown, snagging the Lions the big win. They beat the Minnesota Vikings, 29-27. Thanks to that showing, Goff was named NFC Offensive Player of the Week.
