Michigan’s Last Sears Store is Reportedly Closing – And It’s in the Detroit Area
It’s the end of an era.
Michigan’s last standing Sears store is going to close, according to reports.
The store is located at the Westland Shopping Center, and signs outside the store say merchandise is marked down.
Sears first came to Michigan in 1941. That’s before my parents were born! I still have photos taken at Sears from when I was a kid. Apparently, it was the thing to do.
Sears, you will be missed.
Right now, there’s no official date for when the Westland Sears location will close.
