Slothrust Back with Bluesy New Song, ‘Cranium’
Los Angeles alternative rockers Slothrust are back with a new song, “Cranium,” which continues in the band’s experimental, indie-sounding tradition.
The band, fronted by guitarist and vocalist Leah Wellbaum, most recently released a full-length album in 2018, The Pact.
“Cranium” is being released via Dangerbird Records, which has been home to Slothrust’s past few album releases. As of right now, there’s no official news of a new album on the horizon, so one can only hope news of a new full-length will be the next step.
In the meantime, listen to “Cranium” below, which features a killer, blues-based guitar solo and wild vibe. Watch the song’s psychedelic music video, too.
