#CancelKimmel is trending on social media, and the comedian is getting a lot of heat for several reasons.

One reason is because of a 2013 podcast that has resurfaced. In the clip obtained by Fox News, Jimmy Kimmel talks to Adam Corolla about times when he would impersonate George Wallace. Not only does he repeatedly mimic George Wallace in the audio, but he changes his speech pattern to adopt the stereotypical voice of a black man. During the clip,  Adam Carolla also makes a reference about Kimmel’s “crazy black voice.”

Jimmy is also getting heat for imitating Snoop Dogg in a resurfaced track that was on a 1996 Christmas album. In the song, Kimmel uses the “N-word” multiple times. The clip is currently on YouTube.

Another reason many want to #CancelKimmel is because of past sketches the comedian has done. Per MSN, in a recurring skit on The Man Show on Comedy Central, Kimmel dressed in blackface as former NBA player Karl Malone. Videos and photos of the skits have been circulating online for the past week.

Kimmel is lastly under fire for a resurfaced interview he did with Megan Fox. In it, Fox tells a story about being sexualized as a 15-year-old by film director/producer Michael Bay. During Megan’s story, Jimmy makes an inappropriate joke that is rubbing people the wrong way.

Since the clip went viral, Megan Fox has released a lengthy response about the interview. In her statement, she thanks fans for speaking out, and she clarifies the timeline of the stories she told.

She also states, “I’m thankful to all of you who are brave enough to speak out and I’m grateful to all of you who are taking it upon yourself to support, uplift, and bring comfort to those who have been harmed by a violent and toxic societal paradigm.”

May we all continue waking up❤️
