‘Rocky’ Documentary Narrated by Sylvester Stallone Arriving Digitally This Month
A new “Rocky” documentary is in the works, and the one and only Sylvester Stallone will narrate it.
“40 Years of Rocky: The Birth of a Classic,” written and produced by Derek Wayne Johnson, will give an in-depth look at the famed “Rocky” role that made Stallone a household, as he discusses his experience working on the original film.
The film promises an “emotional” and “intimate” discussion of the making of the low-budget film, which went on to earn three Academy Awards, including Best Picture.

“40 Years of Rocky: The Birth of a Classic” will arrive digitally via iTunes/AppleTV and Amazon on June 9.
