Star Wars Day: Watch John Williams Conduct the Vienna Philharmonic in Riveting ‘Imperial March’
It’s the fourth day of May, which means it’s time to pay tribute to the legendary “Star Wars” franchise.
In honor of the Star Wars holiday “May the Fourth,” Deutsche Grammophon has posted a video of composer John Williams directing the iconic Vienna Philharmonic through a riveting version of his “Imperial March.”
The footage comes from last January, when Williams served as conductor of the Vienna Philharmonic for the first time, presenting a range of his works, including Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Raiders of the Lost Ark, E.T., the Harry Potter series and others.
