New Details Emerge After Austin Powers Star Passes Away
Over the weekend, we reported Verne Troyer, most known for his role as Mini-me in Austin Powers, had passed away at the age of 49.
The announcement was made on his official Instagram account by his family.
At the time, his family alluded to the possibility his death may have been related to suicide.
The family mentioned Troyer had suffered from depression in the past, but that this time it was too much.
Now, according to People, new details have emerged pertaining to what may have caused his death.
Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office has confirmed that Troyer had a high level of alcohol in his system at the time he died.
The coroner also performed Toxicology tests on Troyer. Those results are expected back four to six weeks from now.
