Some of the hardest people to buy gifts for our dads, that coworker you got in Secret Santa, and teenagers. Plus, teenagers are usually the type of gift recipient who’s very honest about whether they like a gift or not. I know I was. So, that’s a lot of pressure on you to get something they really love.

So, if you feel completely lost about what to get your teen cousin, niece, nephew, or even your son or daughter, I put together this list of 10 things most teens would really love.

And this is coming from me, a 23-year old, so basically, these are just items that I’d be more than happy to receive this holiday myself.

  • 10. Sony Portable Speaker - $35

Besides TikTok, the world of a teen today almost certainly involves music. I don’t know any teen that doesn’t like some kind of music, so a speaker is really an amazing universal gift. With this one, you can choose your teen’s favorite color out of blue, black, white, and red.

  • 9. NBA 2K22 - $60

I can almost guarantee that if your teen likes sports and gaming, they will love NBA 2K22. You can get the game for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, or Nintendo Switch.

  • 8. TOZO Wireless Bluetooth Headphones - $35

I personally use these all the time and they are the BEST! You can’t beat a personal recommendation. These are comfy and come with several sizes to best fit your ear. You can also control the music through them, which makes them great for working out. And only $35!!

  • 7. Carhartt Beanie - $17

Beanies are a great winter gift in general, and Carhartt makes some of the highest quality. They also offer a ton of different colors. My favorite colors are the Dijon/Winter White Marl and Basil/Black Marl.

  • 6. Fujifilm Instax Mini Instant Camera + 20 Photo Pack -$85

Polaroid style pictures are really always in demand because it’s always fun to keep a physical picture from good memories. Definitely get this if your teen is into photography/social media. This bundle is the camera itself and 20 photos.

  • 5. Weighted Blanket - $40

A big reason why I put this on the list is because I want to get a weighted blanket for myself this year! Weighted blankets are awesome for people who may experience anxiety. The weight feels so comforting and grounding. Make sure though not to get one that is too heavy, as this may cause more anxiety.

  • 4. Moon Lamp - $20

Okay but who wouldn’t want this lamp?! It’s a moon that changes colors! This lamp might be marketed for kids, but if I’m 23 and I want it in my room, I know your teen will too.

  • 3. Codenames - $12

Codenames is one of my favorite games of all time. It’s a team game that makes you think outside the box to give clues to your teammates about which codes (aka Agents) belong to your team. This adds so much to the perfect family game night!

  • 2. Victrola Record Player - $50

This record player can hook up to your phone’s Bluetooth like a regular Bluetooth speaker. It also offers three different speeds so you can play 33s, 45s, and 78s. I like this brand because you can virtually get any color!

  • 1. Kisses: The Edible Kind - $9

Talk about the best universal gift: Chocolate! Shower your teen with “Kisses” this holiday even if they won’t let you give them the real ones right now… you know teen angst and all that. Include a cute note and they’ll know how much you care!
