To say Joel Hoekstra is an amazing guitarist is like saying Wayne Gretzky scored a few goals. The guy can play! He’ll be back at it again this winter with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra criss-crossing the country. Obviously, TSO is going to be a little different without Paul O’Neill at the helm, but Joel mentioned he had parts in place to keep it moving forward for years as we talked about his passing.

He also plays in the band Whitesnake and he told me what they have going on this Fall. Lets just say that the WS machine is going to start to ramp up in 2018. He talks about the rock royalty that is David Coverdale, about being a ‘hired gun’ of sorts, as well as a track he plays on with the Appice bros.
Every since the first time I watched Joel play I’ve wanted to talk to him. I can check that off my list today. Enjoy!
