David Coverdale is a legend! When they email and ask if you want to speak with him, the answer is very easy. Yes! This is a very fun conversation. He told me about the new album, a killer Jason Bonham story, the possibility of a Rock Hall nod, secret projects and more. I wish I had more time to talk to David. (btw, David’s potty mouth may be a little NSFW)
Up next is comedian and fellow rocker, from That Metal Show, Don Jamieson. We met at last year’s Rock On The Range and have stayed in touch. Over the weekend, I was texting back and forth with him and he agreed to join me from time to time to talk all things rock. Today we discussed the recent Monsters Of Rock cruise he just returned from, his latest vinyl scores, the legendary bands he’ll be touring with for a few shows, and lots more. Don is a funny and knowledgeable rock guy, and I’m so glad to have him on.
