Today it’s another 2 for 1 Radio Chatter podcast, but both both are related to a single project. Kim Coates plays the lead role in “Officer Downe”, which is directed by Slipknot’s M.Shawn ‘Clown” Crahan.
First up is Kim. He was recently in Detroit to watch his favorite hockey team. We talked about that, of course, then hit up the movie. He talked about helping a member of SK become a better actor, the first time he met ‘Clown’, playing Terrence Downe and more. Will he be part of the upcoming SOA series about the Mayans? What about the upcoming ‘Goon’ movie that comes out in a few weeks, and more.
Next up it was Clown’s turn. I’ve never talked to or met him so I was pretty excited. He was an awesome interview. We talked about what the influence of being in Slipknot might have played in how this film was shot, most challenging thing about making this movie, his hectic schedule and if he considers himself a workaholic. He also gave me a little insight as to what’s going on in the Slipknot camp while Corey Taylor is off doing Stone Sour.
It’s a great double dose for you today on Radio Chatter. Thanks for listening!
