Trent Reznor is Now a CMA Winner
Next to an Academy Award, a CMA Award, country music’s biggest honor, is another award Trent Reznor probably thought he’d never win, but thanks to Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus‘ mega-hit “Old Town Road,” that’s all changed.
“Old Town Road” won the CMA Award for Musical Event of the Year yesterday. The song samples Nine Inch Nails‘ “34 Ghosts IV” and gives him a production credit win for the award, as well as Atticus Ross and YoungKio.
Reznor had a little Photoshop fun and shared the altered photo of him and Ross below along with the simple caption, “Thank you, #CMAawards.”
