Rival Sons: Hear Stunning Live Acoustic Version of ‘Too Bad’
Rival Sons is one of the best live acts in rock today, and if you’re looking for further proof, take a listen to this new live acoustic version of “Too Bad.”
Embedded below, this rendition of “Too Bad” was recorded at the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival inside their Haybale Studio, which was an actual studio made from bales of hay. Jay Buchanan somehow elevates his vocals to another bluesy level, which didn’t seem possible after hearing the studio version of the track, but he makes it happen.
Per Rolling Stone, the acoustic version of “Too Bad” is part of Bonnaroo’s Haybale Sessions, which is due out August 23, and will also feature a new recording of Feral Roots‘ lead single “Do Your Worst” and “Jordan” from Rival Sons’ 2012 album Head Down.
