White Stripes Share Public TV Performance from 2000
The White Stripes recently shared a vintage public television performance from 2000 to YouTube in honor of the 20th anniversary of their second studio album, De Stijl.
Embedded below, the performance took place on May 28, 2000 on “Backstage Pass,” a show on Detroit Public TV. Meg and Jack White performed two songs on the show: “Apple Blossom” and “Death Letter.”
De Stijl turned 20 on June 20, and Third Man Records is currently selling the album on CD, vinyl and cassette over at ThirdManStore.com. The album is also available for streaming/download here.
