Jack White and Jack Black Might Collaborate
Jack White and Jack Black have spent some time in the studio together, according to Black.
According to The Tennessean, Jack Black thanked Jack White from the stage at Ascend Amphitheater at a Tenacious D show over the weekend. Black apparently said, “Jack White, we went over to his house today and recorded a brand new song.” The Tennessean added that Black said that the song would be released on White’s Nashville based Third Man Records, which frequently puts out vinyl-only one-0ff singles (they’ve done this with artists ranging from Tom Jones to the Insane Clown Posse).
Black and White blew up the internet in June when they posted a photo together when Tenacious D and the Raconteurs ran into each other in an airport.
