‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ Nabs Five Oscar Nominations
Award season isn’t over yet for Bohemian Rhapsody, which received five Academy Award nominations this morning (January 22).
The smash biopic received a nomination in the Best Picture category, with Rami Malek receiving a Best Actor in a Leading Role nomination for his performance as Freddie Mercury. The film also received nominations in technical categories for Film Editing, Sound Editing and Sound Mixing.
These five Oscar nominations come after Bohemian Rhapsody took home the Golden Globes for Best Motion Picture – Drama and Best Actor – Motion Picture – Drama for Malek.
The 91st Annual Academy Awards will air live on Sunday, February 24 on ABC.
