Guns N’ Roses saw the return of guitarist Slash and bassist Duff McKagan in 2016. It seems like only yesterday when the band’s “Not in This Lifetime…” tour was first announced. Now, the band is rumored to be dropping new music soon.
Meanwhile, GN’R continues to sell out arenas and stadiums all over the world. In fact, the aforementioned “Not in This Lifetime…” tour is one of the highest-grossing tours of all time. Billboard Boxscore reported in April 2023 that the “Not in This Lifetime…” tour was the fourth highest-grossing tour of all time. The tour ran from 2016-2019. It included 158 shows and sold 5.4 million tickets. In total, it grossed $584 million. (Of course, GN’R’s ranking on this list may move down a peg thanks to Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour,” but that’s a conversation for another day.)
