The song that started the career for the Canadian trio. Man, Neil Peart is missed, eh?!
johnny cash - one piece at a time
I love this song. I think I laugh every time when he mentions driving that debacle down the road after it was finished. LOL
todd rundgren - bang on the drum
Yeah, this song may not be in everyone’s wheelhouse, but it’s a classic!
ted nugent - workin' hard, playin' hard
Great song….classic Ted!
johnny paycheck - take this job and shove it
Let’s face it, everyone has wished to say this to their boss at one point or another.
loverboy - working for the weekend
I’m not a fan, but it has cowbell so I guess it can’t be all bad, right?!
john lennon - working class hero
Originally done by John Lennon, it’s been covered by Ozzy Osbourne and Green Day.
pop evil -work
This song captures the working vibe.
The Kings - This Beat Goes On/Switchin' to Glide
This song takes me back to when I was a kid and the local station would play it on Fridays. Again, maybe out of some of your wheelhouses, but a classic for sure. “Nothing matters but the weekend”
bob seger - feel like a number
A classic from the Motor City’s own.
skid row - slave to the grind
I saved the best for last. I LOVE this song!! IMO, maybe one the best from the boys. Crank it!
