Stephen Pearcy of RATT was on my Talkin' Rock podcast, as I asked him a listener submitted question...his thoughts on the recent Rock Hall inductees.

"Ya know what, it's all politics." he said. "That's the worst thing about the Hall Of fame." He went on "There's so many musicians from the 50s, the 60s, the 70's...they don't give a s*it about us 80s groups, at all. You're not going to see Motley up there anytime soon, or RATT."

He did say that getting Judas Priest in was a milestone. "Dude, that was a milestone having Judas Priest in there. They had to break. They didn't have a choice." Even though in my opinion what they gave Priest was nothing more than a participation trophy. Stephen agreed "They had to. I mean, it's overwhelming." He went on to talk about individual musicians in bands getting in also.

He said the Hall has to throw them a bone. "Our genre, in the 80s, made billions of dollars for the music industry." He told me his awards he's earned mean more to him because they're from the hard core fans, not some critics or music insiders.

Check out some classic RATT videos below. Man, you forget how good these songs were.
