Roadkill Nights present by Dodge is coming back to Pontiac August 12th. Dodge brand CEO, Tim Kuniskis joined me to discuss some of the different things surrounding the event this year, including a new location. More on that later. First, Tim told me about the Grudge match races. “We’re going to have the influences build the car for the Grudge match, but they’re not actually going to race. They’re going to help someone mentor to build the car, and then that person’s actually going to race. It’s going to be a mentor/mentee type thing.”
As far as the new location, it was moved from the shadow of the M1 Concourse because of road construction. According to Tim “Pontiac has partnered with us all the way through this, and they’ve stepped up and they’re allowing us to do it right in downtown Pontiac this year.” That’s right, the new starting line is going to be at Woodward and West Pike.
That being said, you’ll still be able to take part in all the usual activities that the Roadkill Nights event has offered, like thrill rides and more.
Tim told me this has become a Worldwide event. “It’s become a Global phenomenon. We livestream the whole event, and we get millions of people watching it online. So, if you can’t make it out you can still watch it.” Check out the links for the livestream on https://www.dodge.com/.
I can’t wait to see you guys there!
