The Los Angeles Rams were in a pinch going into the 2023 draft. They were the only team in the entire NFL that had just one quarterback on their roster. So, they had to act fast.
Of course, former Detroit Lion Matthew Stafford is still the main quarterback with the L.A. Rams. He’s under a mighty contract, following his 2022 Super Bowl win, even if there were rumors that the Rams were desperate to trade him this year.
