Like many around the Detroit area, I lost power during yesterday’s storms. No water. No electricity. No problem…I’ll go to work and shower there. Or will I? The station building is equipped with a small gym and locker room, so this isn’t the first time I’ve had to shower at work.

Here’s where my day hit a snag. Halfway through my shower, the water just stopped! Well, it slowed down, then nothing. I was literally covered in soapy lather when the water decided to say “Yeah, we think we’re done here, dude.” I stood there waiting for the water to come back on. Nothing. With soap on my face, and everywhere else, I turned the faucet on and off several times. Nothing. I thought maybe I could give it a few minutes. Nothing. Ugh!

After a few minutes, I grabbed my towel, walked over to the sink, stuck my head under to at least get some of the soap off. Much to the chagrin of many, there will be no photo proof, LMAO!

I was told that the plumbing work we had done last week had blocked up the shower head, hence, why it stopped.

This got me to thinking about some classic “shower scenes”…..

  • Steve Martin in Planes, Trains & automobiles

One of my favorite movies of all time!

  • Psycho

Is there a more iconic shower scene that this? I doubt it.

  • Weird Science

Every teenagers dream in the 80s.

  • shower scenes in horror movies

Horror movies are synonymous with shower scenes.

  • elf

    Everyone knows this one!

  • Friday the 13th

    Gory, gory, gory…..

  • nightmare on elm st.

    A pure classic.

  • daddy's home 2

Will Ferrell appears again on this list…funny!

  • the naked gun 2 1/2

    These movies were so good.

  • home alone 2

    Classic!

  • IT 1990

The thing nightmares are made of.

  • Scary Movie 4

    Ha! I loved these movies.
