Since it's Axl Rose's birthday I thought I'd share my top twenty GNR songs with you. Some of these songs could be interchangeable, except for the top 5, Those are pretty solid. The #1 song is by far my favorite, and it might surprise you to see what it is.

#20 - Nightrain

Just a solid track off of Appetite. BTW, you ever notice how much cowbell is used on that record?

#19 - Catcher In The rye

You'll notice some songs from Chinese Democracy on here. I love that album.

#18 - Bad Apples

Killer song off of Use Your Illusion. Bluesy GNR is usually pretty good.

#17 - Get In The Ring

When has a band, more specifically the lead singer, just unleashed on the press in a song? Not too much as far as I can recall.

#16 - Live And Let Die

I've always loved their version of the classic Wings song.

#15 - Chinese Democracy

Say what you want about this song and album, but I love it! He played this song when we took some WRIF listeners to see GNR in Vegas. It rocked!

#14 - Garden Of Eden

Killer video, great song!

#13 - Madagascar

Another killer, epic song from Chinese Democracy. I love the simple, but killer drum beat throughout the song. Axl is in top form on this one, too.

#12 - Pretty Tied Up

Another fun track from the UYI albums.

#11 - Out To Get Me

Another gem from AFD.

#10 - Civil War

Great, epic song. I've always liked it.

#9 - Welcome To Jungle

I mean, the first song I ever heard from these guys. I can still remember where I was when I heard the first chords of this song come over the radio. I turned it up right away.

#8 - My Michelle

Just another ripper from AFD.

#7 - Back Off Bitch

This song gets the blood pumping!

#6 - Yesterdays

I've always liked this song since the first time I played it on the radio.

#5 - Coma

You'll come to learn that I love the epic GNR. This one is no exception.

#4 - November Rain

Epic? Yes. Killer video? Yes. Just an awesome song.

#3 - Rocket Queen

My favorite track off of Appetite.

#2 - Estranged

Did someone say Epic? Great song!

#1 - There Was A Time

I never tire of this song. The guitar work. The epic feel. In my opinion, this is the peak of Axl's voice work. Nothing compares to this song as far as I'm concerned.
