The Detroit Lions have won five of their past six games, making them one of the hottest teams in the NFL. Sports commentators are even saying the Lions are the team you don’t want to play right now.
This following a 1-6 start to the season. It’s an incredible comeback and something you’d see in a movie.
As someone who was raised a Lions fan and has seen loss after loss, this period feels oh-so good. All the losses, for years and years, are somehow making this moment even sweeter. Maybe it’s how Chicago Cubs fans felt when the team won the World Series in 2016. Okay, we haven’t won a Super Bowl. But it sure feels like it.
