According to a poll on Absolute Radio's website, the Guns N' Roses classic "Sweet Child O' Mine" has been declared the Greatest Guitar Anthem of all time.

Below is the top 5, followed by ten I would've choosen...perhaps above these.

1 - Guns N' Roses "Sweet Child O' Mine"

2 - Pink Floyd "Comfortably Numb"

3 - AC/DC "Thunderstruck"

4 - The Eagles "Hotel California"

5 - Fleetwood Mac "The Chain"

On to my picks.....check out how young the guys are in this video!

I mean, any guitar list has to include "Dimebag" Darrell

Speaking of guitarists who must be on the list, Eddie Van Halen fits that category as well.

Many of Tony Iommi's classic riffs could fit the bill, too.

Maybe one of the crunchiest riffs ever written belongs to our own, "Terrible" Ted Nugent.

Deep Purple's "Smoke on the water" may not be one of my favorite songs of all time, but you can't deny the riffage.

Mick Mars has taken a beating lately, but imo, he's one of the most underrated guitar players to come out of the 80s. Just a monster riff.

I don't know, I just think this one might be Jerry Cantrell's greatest riff. In a recent interview I did with singer William DuVall, he agreed.

While we're talking about great players from the grunge era, this one has to be here.

KISS "Detroit Rock City". A Must for any list like this.
