Incubus will be hitting the road to play their popular 2001 album Morning View in its entirety along with the hits. Are these the 5 best songs heard on the album?

The tour kicks off tonight at Little Caesars arena in Detroit and will also include stops in Chicago, Philadelphia, New York, Boston, Tampa, and more before concluding in Lima, Peru in April. There were so many hits on their Morning View album, but some of the best songs were never released!

What Are The Best Songs On ‘Morning View‘ by Incubus?

Incubus has long been one of my favorite bands. They can seemingly do it all. They blend rock, hip-hop, alternative, and more in their music. While I have a great amount of respect for their entire catalogue of songs and albums, Morning View will always have a special place in my heart. There are simply no skips on the album. You can listen to it from start to finish and enjoy it all. It was even included in my list of 5 favorite albums of all-time.

It’s good to know that the band will also be playing their hits that weren’t featured on the album, so we know that we’ll also be hearing popular songs like “Drive” and “Pardon Me.” Personally, I think it’s going to be an incredible playlist. Sometimes, it can be a bit frustrating when you go to see your favorite band and they end up playing a bunch of new tracks. You want some familiarity in your setlist! Fans are going to get that to the maximum when they go to see Incubus on this tour.

Honestly, picking out my 5 favorite songs from one of my favorite albums was no easy task. The album features 13 songs (and 2 extra bonus live versions on certain releases) so you’re leaving a lot of gems on the cutting room floor. See the track listing from the album below.

  1. Nice To Know You
  2. Circles
  3. Wish You Were Here
  4. Just a Phase
  5. 11am
  6. Blood on the Ground
  7. Mexico
  8. Warning
  9. Echo
  10. Have You Ever
  11. Are You In?
  12. Under My Umbrella
  13. Aqueous Transmission

Are These The 5 Best Song On Incubus’ Morning View Album?

  • Wish You Were Here

Not only is “Wish You Were Here” my favorite song on Morning View by Incubus, it might be my favorite song overall! I’ve loved it for many many years, and even used it as my walk-up song while playing baseball. The song features all sorts of different elements. There are relaxing chill parts, there are heavier parts, the lyrics are poetic, all while being catchy at the same time. What’s not to like? Also, they rock this song live. It’s an absolute must-see in person.

  • Aqueous Transmission

If someone asked me “what’s the most chill song of all-time?” My answer would be “Aqueous Transmission.” Honestly, there’s nothing else like it. Not by Incubus, not by any popular rock band, really. Have you ever heard a rock band use a sitar before? It’s unbelievable. The songs transports you and you can close your eyes and feel like it’s your floating down the river. I can’t wait to see this one live during the tour. They don’t play it often live, so this could be your one chance to see it in-person!

  • Nice To Know You

“Nice To Know You” is another popular hit off the album. This song rocks. However, despite it being harder on the rock compared to a lot of their other songs, it remains catchy and doesn’t over do it. The crowd always eats this one up during live shows. It’s definitely one of the more popular songs off the album and continues to get radio play.

  • Are You In?

This is another more chill song off the album. It’s a great song for kicking back and relaxing. A good *cough cough* “chilling” song. Again, this is one that Incubus doesn’t play often at live shows! So, it’s a great reason to catch them on this tour. I’ve seen Incubus live roughly 6 or 7 times, and this is one song I am yet to see them play. That all changes on this tour!

  • Echo

I forgot “Echo” was on Morning View! Shame on me! It’s a very underrated song from the band. The best way to describe it would be “it’s a vibe.” It used to be a go-to song while out on the boat for me and my friends during the summer. It’s a very nostalgic song, and you’ll hear it on the tour! This is going to be a great tour from one of the best bands in rock!
