22 Pictures For 2022 – Meltdown

As 2022 comes to an end in a couple weeks, let's look back on what turned out to be another year of getting back to "normal". Riding, concerts, interviews, just living life.

Stone Gossard joined me recently to talk about everything he has going on. Really cool to talk to him. I did a lot of interview via Zoom this year.

I was scheduled to meet Blackie from W.A.S.P. at the meet and greet here at Harpos in November, but it was too early and I couldn't make it. I did get a picture with his famous mic stand though. LOL

I did some great charity events this past year. One was in the middle of summer with Darren McCarty.

I got a lot of miles on the Harley again this year. This picture was with a big group in the Irish Hills at Artesian Wells. Fun ride! Thanks to everyone who came out to Full Throttle Thursday's at Stingers...so much fun!

Once again, Riff Fest was a highlight of the summer. Here's a picture of myself and Dan Donagan from Disturbed. (ignore my cheat sheet below my foot)

Of course these guys rocked at Riff Fest, but I also played hockey a couple times with Marc from the band. Once with NHL legend, Milan Hejduk.

I never know who I'm going to run into when I go to concerts. I met Mike Wolfe from American Pickers at the Metallica show in Pittsburgh. It's the second time I randomly bumped into him. Great guy!

The Michigan boys in I Prevail dropped a new album, and Eric and Brian were nice enough to swing by the studio to talk about it.

Another fun Zoom interview this past year was with my friend, Frank Bello. The Anthrax legend talked about his solo EP and what the thrash giants have coming up.

The girls from PLUSH were outstanding and RIFF Fest. Lookout for this band for years to come.

I saw Kid Rock in concert three times this summer. Plus, I went down to Nashville to hang with him for his charity comedy night at the legendary Ryman auditorium.

Yeah, I'm a rocker through and through, but I'm also a music fan. I may have had a few cocktails before snapping this picture - which Zac helped me because my phone was in panoramic for some reason and I couldn't figure it out.

This was one of few in person interviews I did this year. I'd never met Troy before this, but he was a very fun interview. I did it at Echopark Guitars in downtown Detroit.

Like I said, things got back to normal this year and I got to make some stage announcements . This was at the Fillmore.

Yes, I did a lot of riding this year.

It's always great seeing my friend Jesse James DuPree and the guys from Jackyl.

I took a road trip to Milwaukee, the birthplace of Harley Davidson.

It was the first full year with Abby. She's grown, and learned and had a fun year. She's still all puppy.....my good girl.
