101 RIFFS OF SUMMER

The 101 Riffs Of Summer returned for its 14th week, as we continue to celebrate the greatest “Riffs” in rock and roll history. This week of Riffs was one of the best yet. We featured tracks from bands like Mammoth WVH, Ghost, Volbeat, and more!

Make sure to listen Monday through Friday at 2pm for the daily “Riff Of Summer!” Plus, you’ll get two “riffs” on Two-Fer Tuesdays doubling up on some of your favorite WRIF bands. Aimee Brooks was in for Jade this week, as she continued vacationing in beautiful Cyprus, and Aimee kept the Riffs coming! No vacation can come in the way of the 101 Riffs Of Summer!

Previously, we’ve highlighted bands like Rage Against The Machine, Metallica, Jimi Hendrix, and more. The catalogue goes deep and it goes way back, covering all different aspects and angles of rock and roll throughout the years. Great “Riffs” happened back in the ’60s, and they’re still happening today. With the 101 Riffs of Summer, we hope to cover all of your favorites spanning across multiple generations and decades.

If you missed any of the “Riffs” this week, check out the playlist below, along with the playlist from previous weeks, as well. Then, continue reading to hear about an awesome contest with a rocking Grand Prize!
