Astronomicon 7 is in the books and once again the Twiztid guys pulled off another great Comic- Con! I love these events because you get the chance to see and meet celebrities that you might never have had the chance to. Wrestlers from the past and present. Actors, movie stars, voice actors, and so on.

The Burton Manor in Livonia was ground zero for all things pop culture. Legends, WWE Hall Of Fame members. Mick Foley, Sargent Slaughter, Rob Van Damn, Matt Hardy and more. Stars of the screen, mostly in the horror genre, which I'm a big fan of. It was great to see Bill Moslely again. He's been in Rob Zombie movies but is best known as "Chop Top" in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2. I was excited to see Amelie McLain, the Little Pale Girl in Terrifier 2. The next installment of that series comes out in October and I can't wait.

After interviewing Spencer Charnas for the second time, I had the chance to meet him in person. You can listen to our interview here, where we talked about his band Ice Nine Kills opening for Metallica, horror movies, and lots more. His line for pictures and autographs was long all weekend.

Majik Ninja Entertainment's George Vlahakis said "Astronomicon 7 was one for the books. We are proud to host the fastest-growing culture convention in Metro Detroit. We had record-breaking attendance this year and want to thank everybody who stopped by! See you all next year"

It's always a fun time, I can't wait to see what great guests the guys get for Astronomicon 8 next year. In the meantime, enjoy some pictures from the event that myself and WRIF photographer, Jason Anthony took from this past weekend.
