About Spiritbox

Spiritbox is a Canadian heavy metal band, originally from Victoria, British Columbia, formed in 2017 by guitarist Mike Stringer and vocalist Courtney LaPlante. The band features a core lineup of LaPlante, Stringer, drummer Zev Rose, and bassist Josh Gilbert. Spiritbox blends electronic elements with progressive metal, djent, and deathcore, creating a unique sound with melodic vocals, harsh screams, and heavy instrumentals. They gained significant attention for their debut album, “Eternal Blue”, and have released several EPs, including “The Fear of Fear”. Their newest album, “Tsunami Sea”, was released in March of this year.
