Tesla’s new album “Shock” drops on March 8th as the guys tour. Today, guitarist Frank Hannon joins me to discuss the album and a number of other topics. Frank is one of those guys who is just easy to talk to. While I’ve never met him in-person, he just seems like such a down-to-earth person. Here’s what we talked about today…..
* Working with Def Leppard’s Phil Collen and the role he played
* Recording the record while on the road
* How music is a learning process
* His solo albums from last year and what advice Dickie Betts gave him
* Being lumped in with other 80’s bands
* The Queen bio-pic
* The Grammys
* The Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame….and how Tesla is in it, sorta
In rock news, Al and myself discuss the Grammys and the lack of recognition of Vinnie Paul. We talk about the latest news on Ozzy’s ICU visit, Motley Crue and Tool.
If you like this podcast, please give it a 5 star rating, write a review and share it with your friends. THANK YOU so much for listening! -Meltdown-
