Talkin’ Rock with Prog Rocker Derek Sherinian and Jan Hoffmann of Long Distance Calling Download

32:10 Download July 27th, 2022

Two prog rock artists on Talkin’ Rock today.

Derek Sherinian has played with so many artists, that Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal said he has ‘Octopus Pedigree’. He explains that to me, talks about his latest album and the guests on it, and working solo as opposed to a band situation. He gives me an update on Sons of Apollo, Kane Roberts rejoining Alice Cooper and more.

Jan Hoffmann is the second musician in a week who’s from Germany and named Hoffmann! He’s in a band called Long Distance Calling. They have yet to break here in the states, but this new album could do the trick. He tells me about the record, the history of the band, their past and lots more.

Enjoy!
