This is another fun interview with John 5, who is about to embark on a solo tour for a few weeks, with a stop in Detroit at the Token on November 1st. Of course Halloween is his time of year as we talk about growing up dressing up like KISS, even to this day.
A few weeks back, I interviewed David Lee Roth, and one of the things I asked him about was the album that him and 5 did, but hasn’t come out. John and I talk about the album, writing with Dave, and his hopes for the unheard music. We talked about the new Zombie record, which has been done for a very long time. We discussed the new Joker movie, a guitar he won as a kid that he still has, his guitar heroes, playing past curfew, KISS and his top 3 horror movie characters.
I dug Al Beck up and brought him back for Rock News. We talk about Frankie Banali, a street closing in Australia, Ozzy news, Green Day, new Metallica clothing and Eddie Van Halen.
Thank you for listening! 5 star ratings, reviews on Apple and iTunes are always welcomed.
