Astronomicon is a con is put on by the guys from the band Twiztid. It’s only the 2nd year for the con, but it’s become a huge success. Once again this year, the place was packed! Madrox and Monoxide asked me if I’d host a Q&A panel with the one and only, Dee Snider. They didn’t have to twist my arm to do that! What you’re about to hear is the interview in front of a live audience. As always, Dee was GREAT to talk with. We covered lots of topics….

*The reaction to his latest album “For The Love Of Metal”

*Working with Jamie Jasta and what he did for Dee.

*The music scene in the 90’s

*The documentary “We Are Twisted F#^@ing Sister”

*Detroit music that has played a role with him

*Meeting his RNR heroes

*Social Media

*His days fighting the PMRC

*How his fight against the PMRC paralleled Lars’ fight against Napster

*Playing Captain Howdy in “Strangeland”

*A time in the early 90’s when he was dead broke

*His charitable work and which WWE superstar inspired him to do more

* “The Magic of Christmas Day” song he wrote, which a huge pop star recorded

Thanks so much for checking out this special edition of Talkin’ Rock with Meltdown. If you dig this, please, give it a 5 star rating, write a review, share it. As always, a huge THANK YOU for listening! Listener feed back line is 248-586-2988….leave a VM

A HUGE Thank You to the guys from Twiztid, their management George Vlahakis, and sound-man Nick. You guys are the best!
