Here’s something to check out over the weekend. It’s part 2 of my conversations with some of bands from Louder Than Life in Louisville, Kentucky.
Zack Myers from Shinedown came by and talked the new cd, his favorite guitar players, growing up in Memphis and more. Plus he gave me a hard time for a tweet I sent him. haha
I also had a chance to talk to Ed Roland from Collective Soul. I’ve never been able to meet him, so it was kinda cool to talk all things Collective Soul. We talked about, of course, his band, grunge, playing festivals, where he was when he heard of Kurt Cobain’s death and more.
Then Mike Mushok and Adam Gontier from Saint Asonia came by. Mike likes a good laugh and is a really nice guy. Adam is also really cool and I got a few good minutes with those guys. They talked about starting the group, future plans and more. A great new ‘super group’ type band.
Finally, I talked with Seether bassist Dale Stewart. Normally I talk to him with a few more drinks in my system, but not this day! LOL We talked about the band starting off in South Africa, the hard time he had getting music as a kid growing up over there, and a ton more.
If you like this podcast, go back and check out some of my other interviews. I hope you like them. Enjoy!
