As I mention in the interview, I’ve never been a huge Mastodon fan…..until this new record. “Emperor of Sand” is a great album from start to finish. Normally, a record company or venue will ask me to interview an artist for a new release or concert coming through town. This time I contacted my friend Jerry from the record company to set up this conversation because of how much I love the cd.
Brann lets us in on his thoughts on album art and the first record he bought just because of the cover, his influences and who exposed him to music growing up in Rochester, NY, the success of the new album, the upcoming tour and more.
